Yes, post-injury tests can be administered in the absence of baseline. When administering a post-injury test to a patient without a baseline test, the performance of the individual is compared to the normative group and that comparison is provided in the clinical report.
Post-injury testing should only be administered by a trained healthcare provider who is authorized to make return to activity decisions in the state, province, or country where they practice.
Anyone between the 12-80 age range can take an ImPACT Baseline Test online, at home. Group baseline testing can also be performed by an educational organization or healthcare provider.
