  • Is ImPACT Version 4 available in languages other than English?

    Yes. In addition to English, ImPACT Version 4 is available in Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, German, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Czech, Russian, Afrikaans, Mandarin, Japanese, Canadian French, Cantonese, Hungarian, Korean, Polish, Turkish, Dutch, and Greek.

  • How do I know whether I should use the Two-Factor Score or the 4 composite scores when interpretating the ImPACT Clinical Report data?

    The 4 composite solution is provided for every test but you can also choose to see a Two-Factor Score. You can make this choice if you feel it provides a “more appropriate” way to interpret the test taker’s performance.

  • How do I find the ImPACT test version?

    ImPACT test version is provided on page 2 of the clinical report.

  • If I administer a post-injury test with ImPACT Version 4, can I compare it to a test taker’s baseline from an older version of ImPACT?

    Yes, you can compare ImPACT test records of differing versions against one another. Test records version 3.8.0 and higher will use the new normative data set, while test records 3.7.0 and lower continue to use the original normative data set.

  • Can I use the same billing codes with ImPACT Version 4 as I do with the current version of ImPACT?

    ImPACT Version 4 is FDA cleared and has research demonstrating its reliability, validity, and clinical utility. The same billing codes that were used for previous versions of ImPACT should apply to ImPACT Version 4.

  • Is the age range for ImPACT Version 4 the same?

    ImPACT Version 4 has expanded the age range from 12-59 to 12-80 years.

  • Do I need any additional training to administer ImPACT Version 4?

    • Keri Bienert
